Yangon Aerodrome Company Limited Submits Tender to Upgrade, Manage and Operate Kawthoung Airport in Myanmar’s Thanintharyi Region

ရန်ကုန်- ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၂ ရက်၊ ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ် - ရန်ကုန်အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာလေဆိပ်အား စီမံခန့်ခွဲလျက်ရှိသော Yangon Aerodrome Company Limited (“YACL”) သည် လေကြောင်း ပို့ဆောင်ဆက်သွယ်ရေး ညွှန်ကြားမှု ဦးစီးဌာနမှ ၂၀၁၉၊ သြဂုတ်လ (၈) ရက်နေ့တွင် ထုတ်ပြန်ခဲ့သော ကော့သောင်းလေဆိပ် အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ရေးလုပ်ငန်း လုပ်ကိုင်ခွင့်အတွက် တင်ဒါခေါ်ယူခြင်း ကြေငြာချက်အရ ၂၀၁၉၊ နိုဝင်ဘာလ (၂၉) ရက်နေ့တွင် အဆိုပြုတင်ဒါလျှောက်ထားမှုအား ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ပါသည်။  

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏တောင်ဘက်အစွန်ဆုံးပိုင်းတွင်တည်ရှိပြီး သဘာဝကျွန်းစုအလှတရားများ ပေါကြွယ်ဝကာ လွန်ခဲ့သည့် နှစ်အနည်းငယ်မှစ၍ ပြည်တွင်း နှင့် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံသား ခရီးသွားဧည့်သည်များကြား ရေပန်းစားလာသည့် မြိတ်ကျွန်းစုသို့ သွားလာနိုင်သော ဝင်ပေါက်ထွက်ပေါက်တစ်ခုဖြစ်လာမည့် ကော့သောင်းလေဆိပ် အဆင့်မြှင့်တင်ရေးလုပ်ငန်းသည် ပြည်ထောင်စု မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော်အစိုးရ၏ တနင်္သာရီတိုင်းဒေသကြီးဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးအတွက် ကြိုးပမ်းအားထုတ်မှု တစ်ရပ် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

YANGON – 2 December 2019 – Yangon Aerodrome Company Limited (“YACL”), operator of Yangon International Airport (“YIA”), has submitted its tender proposal for the development of Kawthoung Airport on 29th November 2019 pursuant to a Request for Proposal dated 8th August 2019 issued by the Department of Civil Aviation, Myanmar. 

Located on the Southernmost tip of Myanmar, Kawthoung Airport Development is part of the Myanmar’s Government effort to the development of Thanintharyi Region with its vast resources as well the potentials as the gateway to the Myeik Archipelago, which has in recent years gained prominence as a vacation spot among locals and Thai tourists.
